2009.06.14. Festarfjall Extreme Paragliding flight - Grindavik Iceland

2009.06.14. Little did I know how EXTREME this flight would be... This was one totally extreme flight, my most extreme to date. It started with the wing lifting off the ground practically by it self, not enforced, as you can hear my comment: OK !?! but since I was already ready for takeoff & the wing looked good, I ran and took off, heading towards the ocean ( North Atlantic Ocean ! ) with no land ahead, only a very narrow beach... Anyways, I did not get any lift until 400-500m into the flight at the end/other side of the mountain and that was way passed the point of no return ! But at that time I was safe. I really enjoyed the flight even though I did not gain much hight.
